次の英文は,南アフリカ共和国に住むフレッド( Fred )さんが,小学校時代に出会ったエイズ( AIDS )患者のクラスメート,ネルソン( Nelson )さんについて書いたものです。英文を読んで,下の各問いに答えなさい。
