Last year the Denmark team came to Wakayama
for their training camp because the World
Cup was held in Japan and Korea . During
their camp , Denmark had an international
soccer match with Tunisia . It was the first
international A match in Wakayama .
The match was held on 26 . I got to the stadium with my friend
at ten in the morning . There were many people
around the stadium , but most of them were
not people who came to see the match . They
were volunteers to support this match . They
were doing many kinds of work . Some of them
were cleaning around the stadium . Others
were checking the tickets and bags when people
came into the stadium . I was very surprised
to see so many people working as volunteers
.
The match started at in the afternoon . It was a great match
. I really enjoyed it . After the match ,
I saw many volunteers still working there
.They smiled and said to many people , "
Thank you very much ."
The volunteers couldn't see the match ,
but they seemed very happy . I was very impressed
and learned an important thing from them
. Everyone can do something to help people
. I am going to find something that I can
